We reduced the amount of routine appointments we see to ensure we have the capacity to treat patients who may be having pain or problems. We ask patients that if you are experiencing problems and are a current registered patient of the practice to telephone us to arrange an appointment. If you have a dental emergency outside of the normal practice hours, please call 0300 1234 010.
We are starting to continue with some of the outstanding treatments for our patients whose treatment may have been paused during the initial lockdown period. Due to new ways of working, our capacity to see some treatments has been reduced and therefore it will take us longer to complete these treatments than before. Our team is working hard to contact all patients who have outstanding treatments.
Routine check-up appointments for patients who are not experiencing any dental problems have for the moment been postponed and we hope to be able to update you on this shortly.
Please contact our practice by telephone in the first instance. We are currently working with a closed door policy in line with government guidelines and patients will only be able to access the building if they have a booked appointment. If you have a general enquiry, with increased pressure on our phone lines it may be more convenient for you to send us a message. You are welcome to message us on Facebook or send an e-mail to our reception team – email@example.com
We have recently introduced a patient portal in a bid to keep everything as contactless as possible. Before attending your appointment, you will be invited to fill out the forms required via a link in a text message or e-mail. It is important that these forms are completed before attending your appointment. If you are having trouble accessing or completing your forms, please let our reception team know.
All patients attending the practice will be given a COVID risk assessment, we will take temperatures on arrival, provide hand sanitizer and ask that patients attend with a face covering where possible. We ask that where possible you attend your appointment on your own and leave personal belongings at home. We ask that all patients observe the social distancing rule of 2 meters throughout the practice.
We really appreciate the patience and understanding that all our patients have shown us throughout the last 5 months. Safety is and will always be our priority and we look forward to continuing to meet your dental health care needs in the future.
Sending our best wishes to all our patients, please continue to be vigilant, follow government advice and stay safe.
From all the team at Skipton Road Dental Practice.
