Teeth can be restored to form and function using a variety of filling materials. In many cases we use modern tooth-coloured composite restorative materials to build natural form and structure into the tooth. The choice of material we use depends on the shape and size of the cavity we are filling. We will discuss choices with you and explain the advantages of each system.
In some cases, the most suitable treatment option is a special type of filling called an inlay which is constructed by our dental technician in the dental laboratory. This is then cemented into place at a further appointment.
Tooth coloured composites are now better than ever, and can provide optimal aesthetics and wear which can give years of service.
Your teeth are precious! Modern materials also allow us to conserve as much tooth tissue as possible by practising Minimally Invasive Dentistry techniques.
